Building an EMEA treasury organisation for a rapidly expanding multi billion € Asian company. Amsterdam region. Indication base €120K. Cash management, inter company funding, pioneering.

Tasks EMEA Treasury Director

The treasury director combines managing daily operations and building a treasury organisation in a growing company.
In operations, the focus is on cash management, including cash pooling, intercompany funding and FX management.
Our client growths through acquisitions. The director will be included in the due diligence process and the integration. The EMEA treasury team did not reach maturity yet. Both in people management of the small team and infrastructure improvement, the director will bring treasury to the next level.

Ideal EMEA Treasury Director

The ideal candidate for this position has a relevant degree and experience in corporate treasury, specifically in a treasury hub of a non-Dutch company or as senior manager in treasury operations. He is not afraid to pick up operational tasks and is able to act at strategic level. He has a pioneering mindset and is able to be patient when HQ wants to wait. He has shown he can manage a small team and he is an excellent communicator with CFOs of subsidiaries.

Our client is an Asian industrial corporate with a fast growing multibillion € revenue stream. The company is very ambitious, expansion, also through acquisitions is expected. Parallel to the growth, international corporate functions are brought to a next level. Strengthening the treasury function is part of this.

Remuneration and Process

The expected base salary for this position is €120K, with a bandwidth for candidates that bring more or less. For candidates that are interested and qualify, a more extensive job description is available.
