The registrations for the ATEB Treasury Summit on 20th June on the Future-Proof Treasurer are now open.
Whereas once the main characteristic of an excellent Treasurer was to focus on the core competencies of Treasury such as cash management, risk management, bank relationship management and funding, most modern-day Treasurers now realise that much more is required if they wish to be perceived as an essential function in their companies. Treasurers need to develop a new framework which, while not ignoring the traditional treasury activities, has to leverage new developments in order to stay a step ahead. This means that Treasurers have to embrace new skills and be agile, strategic, digital, innovative, regulatory compliant and an advisor to the business. But what does that mean for the Treasurer in practice? Join us for a Treasury Summit and learn how those competencies can be applied to the fast new developments in the Treasury world and stay a step ahead.
This summit will be sponsored by ING and held at their offices in Avenue Marnix 24, easily reachable with public transport and with free parking at Parking deux Portes at Porte de Namur.
Registration will begin at 13.00 and the summit itself will start at 14.00. For this summit we are very pleased to welcome as opening guest speaker, Mark Buitenhek, Global Head of Transaction Services, specialising in banking industry disruption, industry (Fintech) innovation, predictive analytics and artificial intelligence so well placed to be the partner of a future-proof treasurer. To open the summit, he will speak on The Future of Banking.
